Chainlink Whale Activity Surges to Five-Month High
Chainlink's whale activity has hit a five-month high, according to Santiment's on-chain analytics. The firm reported that 246 separate LINK transfers worth at least $100,000 were processed on the Chainlink network in a single day, with some of these transactions reaching as high as $8.8 million.
This surge in whale activity is often seen as a bullish signal for Chainlink's price, and Santiment interpreted it as such. However, the token itself remains relatively flat, trading at $8.80 as of this report, up 1.69% on the day.
Standard Chartered has expressed optimism about Chainlink's future prospects, setting a target price of $200 by the end of 2030 based on its potential to become an anchor for financial assets being onboarded to public blockchains.
