Chainlink's Infrastructure Build Powers Ahead Amid Price Weakness
Chainlink News: LINK's Infrastructure Build Progresses Amid Price Weakness
The price of Chainlink (LINK) has been trading around $8.50, but its underlying infrastructure build is advancing rapidly. According to a recent report, Chainlink's decentralized oracle networks, Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), and Proof of Reserve system are collectively underpinning protocols that rely on off-chain data verification.
As LINK's market capitalization stands at approximately $6.38 billion, its infrastructure adoption is increasing, with TradFi institutions relying on Chainlink for tasks such as DeFi settlement, tokenized fund verification, and cross-chain interoperability. However, the current price chart does not reflect this progress.
A recent tweet by Alex Marzell suggests that LINK's price may reach $10 before August, citing a technical breakdown below key support and derivatives liquidations as reasons for its weakness. Nevertheless, analyst targets are clustering around the $10 breakout zone, suggesting that level is the first meaningful test of whether the infrastructure thesis is pricing in.
