ChangeHero Adds PayPal Support, Integrates MoonPay, and Boosts Fiat Options
ChangeHero has rolled out a major update to its fiat layer, adding PayPal support and integrating MoonPay as a third fiat provider. This move brings significant benefits to users in various regions, particularly those in the UK who were previously restricted from using cards on crypto platforms.
The new addition of GBP bank transfer will bypass card restrictions for UK customers, allowing them to purchase cryptocurrencies directly with their sterling balances. PayPal availability is also a major milestone, as it provides a more accessible payment method for users in regions where bank-level restrictions block card payments to crypto exchanges.
Additionally, MoonPay Balance offers 0% processing fees on pre-funded purchases, while Mercuryo Boost provides cashback rewards through points accumulation. These loyalty programs aim to incentivize users to choose ChangeHero's fiat providers beyond just rate and availability.
The update also expands the purchasable asset list to 170 tokens, with roughly 80 new assets added in this release. This change will reduce the need for secondary swaps, making it easier for users to access their desired cryptocurrencies.
