Chartered Sees Arbitrum Token Skyrocketing to $10 by 2030
Standard Chartered has set a price target of $10 for Arbitrum's (ARB) token by 2030, implying a nearly 66x increase from its current price. The bank expects ARB to reach this target as traditional financial institutions increasingly use blockchain infrastructure and Arbitrum earns fees from these networks.
Standard Chartered's head of digital assets research, Geoff Kendrick, said the network's business model is focused on revenue, which should benefit the ARB token. The bank forecasts that Arbitrum will earn significant revenue from its expansion program, including a 10% fee on net revenue from external networks using its technology stack.
The forecast also mentions the growth of tokenized assets, with Standard Chartered expecting their volume to reach $4 trillion by the end of 2028. However, the bank notes that slower growth in asset tokenization and competition from other blockchains are among the risks to the forecast.
