ChatGPT Predicts Bitcoin Price Surge Ahead of Key Inflation Report
Bitcoin's price has been on an upward trend in recent times, gaining another 1.2% on August 24 and trading at $77,770. The cryptocurrency market is supported by sustained institutional demand, a favorable macro backdrop, and renewed capital flows.
The Bitcoin ETF inflows for August in the U.S. reached $1.92 billion, the highest since October 2025, which has provided a stronger price floor than would be expected from a purely leverage-driven move.
With the cryptocurrency's outlook turning bullish, OpenAI's ChatGPT was asked to predict Bitcoin's price on September 1, 2026. The AI algorithm believes there's a 40% chance of the asset landing in the $75,000-$82,000 range, with $80,000 being the most narrow prediction.
However, ChatGPT also noted that the period could be highly volatile and that ETF flows will likely be the key metric to watch. The algorithm assigned a 25% chance of Bitcoin trading between $82,000 and $90,000, but only a 5% chance of it climbing above $90,000.
