Circle Arc Blockchain Launches with One-Time Earnings Boost
Circle Internet Group's (NYSE: CRCL) Arc blockchain is set to launch publicly on September 16, with institutional participants including BlackRock, Visa, Mastercard, and DTCC. The event marks a significant milestone for the company.
However, according to an analyst, while Arc's launch is real, its expected boost in earnings for 2026 may be one-time. In fact, 95% of Circle's second-quarter revenue still came from reserves, rather than new business ventures.
The analyst notes that USDC adoption and regulatory standing are strong, but lower rates, Coinbase economics, Tether, and dilution limit the potential payoff for shareholders. The analyst's probability-weighted value for CRCL is $90, which is below the current price of $102.05.
