Circle Axes New USDC Minting on Noble Blockchain

Circle is pulling its flagship stablecoin USDC off the Noble blockchain. The company will stop new USDC minting on Noble through its institutional Circle Mint platform on October 13, 2026.

The decision stems from Circle's broader migration to CCTP V2, a next-generation cross-chain transfer protocol that offers faster finality and stronger security.

Noble, a Cosmos-based issuance hub, will not receive the upgraded protocol, leaving the chain on legacy rails that Circle is now winding down.
