Circle Axes USDC Support on Noble Blockchain
Circle is ending support for USDC on Noble Blockchain as part of its transition to the next-generation cross-chain standard, CCTP V2. The company will disable new minting of USDC on Noble through Circle Mint on October 13, 2026, with redemptions remaining open until January 12, 2027.
Circle is encouraging users to migrate their USDC to another supported blockchain. After the pause date, the Noble USDC contract and CCTP routes will be fully paused, at which point Circle will take a snapshot of remaining USDC balances on Noble and open a manual redemption portal. To qualify for manual redemption, holders must meet Circle's compliance and security requirements, hold USDC in a holder-controlled wallet, and have a wallet address captured in the pause-day snapshot.
Circle framed the move as part of its transition to CCTP V2, which it described as a next-generation cross-chain protocol with faster finality and stronger security. Noble will not receive CCTP V2. Circle said it will publish a shortlist of known exit venues, noted that it is not operating its own exit interface, and urged applications that integrated CCTP V1 for Noble to remove it as a route before January 12, 2027.
