Circle Boosts Financial Inclusion with New Grants for AI and Blockchain Tech
Circle Internet Group (CRCL) has expanded its financial inclusion efforts through new grants supporting AI and blockchain technology. The company's philanthropic arm, Circle Foundation, announced its first domestic grants to Accion Opportunity Fund and Pacific Community Ventures.
The funding will support the development of AI-powered tools designed to improve access to capital for small businesses. Both organizations are using these technologies to help expand access to capital for underserved small business owners.
Circle Foundation is also supporting humanitarian finance projects through donations to UNHCR and UNDP, including the UN Digital Hub of Treasury Solutions, which aims to improve cross-border aid payments through digital financial infrastructure.
