Circle CFO Exits Amid Pivotal Moment for Stablecoins and Regulation
Circle Internet Group's Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Geen will leave his position by December 31, 2026. This comes after a successful $1.2 billion IPO on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker CRCL in May 2021. Fox-Geen joined Circle in 2021 and guided it through the crypto winter of 2022-2023. He will stay until December 31, 2026, or until a successor is appointed, whichever comes first.
The separation agreement includes a conditional cash payment of $1.05 million. Fox-Geen's base salary was $500,000 a year, with a 2026 incentive capped at 110% of that base. Circle has hired an executive search firm to find his replacement.
