Circle Fails to Update Guide After Coinbase's Noble USDC Cutoff
Circle has yet to update its Noble USDC guide despite Coinbase's August 17 cutoff for deposits and withdrawals on the exchange. The notice, which warned users that post-cutoff USDC deposits may not be recoverable, did not specify a clock time or timezone.
The cutoff applies only to Coinbase's custodial route, not to Noble-native USDC itself. Circle's product page describes access through Circle Mint for eligible businesses and lists compatible wallets including Cosmostation, Keplr, and Leap.
A snapshot of the usdc.cool platform at 1:47 a.m. UTC on August 18 showed $114.24 million of USDC issued on Noble, $93.05 million bridged out, and about $21.19 million circulating on the network. This is a Noble-specific measurement.
