Circle Lands Premier League Exposure with Chelsea Sponsorship Deal
Crypto company Circle has secured a one-year sponsorship deal with Chelsea Football Club. This is the club's first major shirt deal in four years, and it comes after a period of uncertainty.
The deal sees Circle's USDC stablecoin logo appear on the front of Chelsea's shirts for the 2026-27 season. The value of Chelsea's shirt sponsorship has dropped significantly since their last big deal with Three UK ended in 2023. According to industry tracker The Sponsor, Chelsea's shirt value slid £16.7 million to £33.6 million.
Circle's USDC is the sixth-largest crypto asset, valued at around $73.6 billion. By securing this deal, Circle gains prominent exposure in the Premier League before Britain's stablecoin rules take effect in October 2027.
