Circle Posts Record $701 Million in Q2 Revenue Amid Stablecoin Network Boom
Circle's Q2 revenue and reserve income reached $701 million, marking a 7% year-over-year increase. This is according to Circle's latest report, which also highlights significant growth in its stablecoin network. The USDC supply has increased by 19% year-over-year, reaching $73.3 billion.
The on-chain transfer volume for USDC has hit $14.8 trillion, representing a staggering 151% growth from the same period last year. Arc, Circle's blockchain-based payment system, saw 502 million cumulative transfers during the quarter, indicating a 106% quarter-over-quarter surge. The Circle Payments Network (CPN) achieved an annualized transfer volume of up to $14.7 billion, showcasing a 76% quarter-over-quarter increase.
The company has announced plans for the Arc Mainnet launch on September 16, with key founding validators including Visa, BlackRock, and Mastercard. This move demonstrates growing institutional interest in blockchain infrastructure that facilitates compliant digital asset transfers.
