Circle's shares rose around 10% in premarket trading after the stablecoin issuer reported second-quarter earnings that beat profit expectations.

The company posted adjusted earnings of 18 cents a share, beating analysts' consensus estimate of 16 cents. Revenue and reserve income rose 7% from a year earlier to $701 million, missing expectations of $712 million.

Circle's dollar-backed stablecoin, USDC, continued to expand with circulation reaching $73.3 billion at the end of June, up 19% from a year earlier but down from its 2026 peak of nearly $80 billion.

The company also reported on Arc, its blockchain network scheduled to launch its public mainnet on September 16. Over 100 ecosystem and institutional builders are developing on Arc, with BlackRock and other financial firms set to deploy tokenized assets on the network.
