Circle has launched its Arc mainnet, a first-layer blockchain designed for institutional financial markets. This platform is meant to facilitate rapid settlements and operations of autonomous AI agents.

Arc is more than just a blockchain; it's a full-stack financial platform with assets such as the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility, transaction finality in under a second, and post-quantum signature algorithms.

The network functions as a comprehensive financial platform, including infrastructure for issuance and trading of RWA, lending and borrowing, on-chain trading and liquidity provision, currency operations and international settlements, and operations of exchanges, wallets, and custodial services.
