Circle's Noble Guide Still Points to Coinbase Despite Cutoff
Circle's public guide still directed users to use Coinbase and select Noble as the network on August 18, despite Coinbase's cutoff date for USDC deposits and withdrawals on Noble having passed.
The cutoff was announced by Coinbase on July 15, but it did not specify a clock time or timezone. It warned users not to send USDC to Coinbase's Noble deposit addresses after August 17 because those funds may not be recoverable.
Noble remains live as Circle's native issuance chain for USDC in the Cosmos ecosystem. The current Noble product page describes access through Circle Mint for eligible businesses and lists compatible wallets including Cosmostation, Keplr, and Leap.
A snapshot at 1:47 UTC on August 18 showed $114.24M of USDC issued on Noble, $93.05M bridged out, and $21.19M circulating. Circle's guide separately said that more than $450 million of USDC was in circulation on Noble as of March 2025.
