Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund Takes Aim at Higher Yields
Neuberger Partners has launched its first tokenized fixed-income product in partnership with Securitize, targeting investors seeking higher yields across multiple blockchain networks. The Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC) will invest primarily in high-yield bonds and have supplemental exposure to collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and leveraged loans.
The fund's tokenized shares will be issued and managed across four networks: Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, and Sui. Securitize will provide the infrastructure for issuance and administration of tokenized fund shares, while Neuberger acts as subadvisor for the first time.
The launch reflects investor demand for higher yields amid a less forgiving interest-rate environment, according to Saxo chief investment strategist Charu Chanana. The new regime may require investors to acknowledge that 'capital has a price again.'
