Citi Boosts Bitcoin Price Target to $113,000 Amid ETF Inflows
Citi, a major banking giant, has revised its Bitcoin price target for the next 12 months. The bank's previous forecast, set amidst the bear market in digital assets, predicted Bitcoin would trade at $83,000 in 2027. However, Citi now forecasts a steady climb towards the all-time high recorded in late 2025, with a new price target of $113,000.
The revision was driven by the recent rally, substantial exchange-traded fund (ETF) inflows, and regulators stepping in to fill the gap left by Congress failing to pass the CLARITY Act. Citi expects ETF inflows to expand to $5 billion in the next 12 months.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin has enjoyed a 33% rally since mid-August, with a recent 14% one-week rally in September. However, the cryptocurrency remains 3.98% in the red year-to-date (YTD), with a press time price of $83,932.
Citi also upgraded its Ethereum price forecast by 35.18%, from $2,240 to $3,028, anticipating a 12.31% rally by the end of Q3 2027.
