Citi Raises Price Targets, Remittix Sets Stage for RTX Token Launch
Citi, a prominent financial institution, has raised its 12-month price targets for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) in a move that could signal a bullish trend in the cryptocurrency market. According to Reuters, Citi's updated forecasts now stand at $113,000 for BTC and $3,028 for ETH, up from previous targets of $82,000 and $2,240.
The increased targets are attributed to stronger crypto activity, a more favorable macro backdrop, and renewed ETF inflows, which can lift sentiment beyond the two largest assets. However, the distinction between a 12-month target and current market conditions is crucial, as markets can respond continuously to policy and capital flows.
Remittix, a PayFi project, is also making waves in the market with its presale price announcement. The project's RTX token has a final presale price of $0.46, which will serve as the minimum exchange launch price on November 24. The project has already raised over $32 million and is nearing its $36 million hard cap.
The Remittix PayFi product aims to connect supported crypto to a fiat transfer through a compatible bank route, making it easier for customers to make regular payments. The project's iOS wallet has already seen over 10,000 downloads, and the project has reported more than $50 million in cumulative trading volume.
