Citigroup Boosts Bitcoin Target to $113,000 Amid Crypto ETF Inflows
Citigroup has raised its 12-month Bitcoin (BTC) price target to $113,000, up from $82,000, and its Ether (ETH) forecast to $3,028. The bank points to increased demand for crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as the main driver behind the upgrade.
Citigroup expects about $5 billion in crypto inflows over the next year, which it believes will arrive at a 'slower but stickier' pace. This is in line with the recent resurgence of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, which have seen net inflows of around $800 million in 2026.
The bank's new Bitcoin target still sits roughly 10% below the October 2025 record of around $126,000. Prices have moved fast, with Bitcoin climbing nearly 40% and Ether about 68% over the past three months.
Citigroup also weighed in on the Senate's failure to advance the Clarity Act, a bill meant to set rules for crypto markets. The bank said the defeat 'narrowed the path to a market-structure bill,' but noted that agency rules may substitute for a lasting law at this point in the election cycle.
