Citigroup Raises BTC Price Target to $113K, ETH to $3,028 Amid Crypto Rally
Citigroup has raised its price target for Bitcoin to $113,000 from $82,000, an increase of roughly 38%, and lifted its target for Ethereum to $3,028 from $2,240. This marks a sharp reversal from the firm's earlier outlook, which had been cut twice in 2026 due to weak ETF demand and regulatory concerns.
The new targets are based on stronger crypto market activity, a more supportive macroeconomic backdrop, and a resumption of exchange-traded fund inflows. Citi expects roughly $5 billion of crypto ETF inflows over the next 12 months, driven by gradually higher allocations from advisers and brokerages.
Bitcoin and Ethereum have rallied nearly 40% and 68%, respectively, over the past three months, narrowing their year-to-date losses to roughly 4% and 9%. The Clarity Act setback narrowed the path toward a broader crypto market-structure bill but did not derail Citi's overall outlook.
