Claude AI Predicts Bitcoin Range-Bound Until Q1 2027
Claude AI's latest Bitcoin price prediction suggests that BTC will remain range-bound between $65,000 and $95,000 for the rest of 2026, with a higher likelihood of reaching the upper end of this range by Q1 2027.
The reasoning behind this prediction lies in the structural changes occurring within corporate treasuries. According to Claude AI, the marginal buyer that drove the last cycle is stepping back, and Strategy's pause in buying Bitcoin is a significant signal in this regard.
Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, has made only one purchase of Bitcoin in nearly three months and has redirected its capital towards defending its preferred stack rather than expanding its Bitcoin position. In contrast, Strive, another company, acquired 469 BTC for $36.6 million at an average cost of $77,954 per coin, bringing its total holdings to 25,000 coins.
Claude AI emphasizes that a sustained break below Strategy's cost basis of $75,412 would likely trigger the 'is the model broken' narrative and accelerate downside towards $65,000. In order for a break above $100,000, Claude AI suggests that treasury accumulation needs to resume at scale or genuine new spot ETF demand.
