CleanSpark's Shift to Power and Data-Center Infrastructure Drives New Valuation Opportunities
CleanSpark has transformed its business model beyond Bitcoin mining to include power and data-center infrastructure. The company's recent 20-year lease for a Georgia facility worth $6.6 billion marks a significant shift in valuation.
The Sandersville project, with 175 MW of critical IT load and an average annual NOI of $330 million, is a major opportunity for CleanSpark to expand its revenue streams beyond mining.
However, the AI/data-center initiative requires substantial capital, with CleanSpark's subsidiary planning to issue approximately $2.23 billion in senior secured notes to finance the project.
