CleanSpark's Wyoming Mining Facility Surpasses 60 EH/s

CleanSpark has been rapidly expanding its cryptocurrency mining operations in Wyoming, reaching an impressive 60 EH/s (exa-hashes per second) by September this year. This surpasses Riot Platforms' reported hashrate of 42.5 EH/s for the first quarter of 2026.

The expansion utilizes S21 immersion XPs to increase capacity and is part of CleanSpark's larger plan to control more network power. The company operates a significant power portfolio of 1.8 GW and deployed 225,137 machines as of June 30, 2026.

CleanSpark achieves an average operating hashrate of 42.6 EH/s, but the Wyoming site significantly boosts this total. The facility includes a 30 MW immersion-cooled site and a second 45 MW site that will add an additional 3 EH/s upon completion.
