Cloud9 Shakes Up Coaching Staff Amid Brutal Losing Streak

Cloud9 has made some significant changes to its VALORANT coaching staff in an effort to turn around a struggling season. The organization announced on July 28 that it would be benching head coach Immi and promoting assistant coach Wyatt 'Veer' Blevins to take his place.

This decision comes after Cloud9 posted a disappointing record of 5-11 this season, including six consecutive losses. Veer's first match at the helm is scheduled for July 31 against LOUD in the VALORANT Champions Tour Americas Stage 2.

The promotion of Veer from assistant coach to head coach suggests that Cloud9 believes its roster has potential, but needs a change in leadership. By promoting from within, the organization is taking a calculated risk and betting on Veer's ability to turn things around.
