Cloudflare Debuts Wallets for AI Agents, Launches Human-Readable Payment Handles

Share

Cloudflare has launched Cloudflare Wallets, giving AI agents on its network a stablecoin balance and a human-readable name to present when they pay for APIs, content, and MCP tools.

The product is part of Cloudflare's Agent Economy initiative, which aims to create a more secure and trustworthy way for agents to make payments online. Agents can now use Wallets as their payment method, with the option to fund them through stablecoins or other means.

Cloudflare has also launched cloudflare.pay, where account owners can reserve a handle starting Tuesday. This allows agents to declare who runs them and provides a human-readable identifier for a cryptographic keypair. However, unidentified agents will still be able to pass through, subject to Cloudflare's bot detection.
