CME Adds BCH and UNI Futures Contracts Ahead of October Launch
CME Group is expanding its crypto derivatives product family by introducing futures contracts for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI). The launch of these products is targeted for October 19, 2026, pending regulatory review.
The standard contract for BCH will be sized at 250 BCH, while the micro contract will be sized at 25 BCH. For UNI, the standard contract is designed to cover 10,000 UNI, and the micro contract 1,000 UNI. These amounts indicate the size of the asset represented by the contract, not the amount of collateral required to open a trade.
The addition of these two assets brings the total number of crypto futures products offered by CME to 11. The exchange's existing single-asset crypto futures products include Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche, and Sui.
CME's crypto futures and options products reached an average daily trading volume of 279,800 contracts in the first half of 2026. The daily notional equivalent was approximately $8.3 billion.
