CME Group has announced its plan to launch Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) futures on October 19, pending regulatory review. This move is part of the exchange's efforts to expand its cryptocurrency product suite in response to client demand for regulated risk management tools.

The addition of BCH and UNI futures will give market participants flexibility based on position size and capital efficiency. Both assets will be available in larger and micro-sized contracts, with full-sized contracts worth $250 BCH and $10,000 UNI, alongside smaller $25 BCH and $1,000 UNI micro contracts.

Giovanni Vicioso, Global Head of Cryptocurrency Products at CME Group, emphasized the importance of regulated risk management tools in evolving digital asset markets. He noted that these new contracts allow clients to manage price risk and gain exposure to key crypto networks within a 24/7, regulated marketplace.
