CME Group Adds BCH and UNI Futures Trading
CME Group, a leading derivatives market operator in the US, is set to launch futures trading for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) on October 19. This was announced by CME Group on September 22.
The new futures contracts will be available in two sizes: micro-sized and large-sized. For BCH, the micro-sized contract will be worth 25 BCH per unit, while the large-sized contract will be worth 250 BCH. Similarly, for UNI, the micro-sized contract will be worth 1,000 UNI, while the large-sized contract will be worth 10,000 UNI.
This move is part of CME Group's ongoing efforts to expand its cryptocurrency offerings. The company has already listed futures contracts for several other cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK), Stellar Lumens (XLM), Avalanche (AVAX), and Sui (SUI).
