CryptoRank reports that CME Group has announced plans to add Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) futures contracts to its crypto derivatives lineup on October 19, pending regulatory review.

This move is seen as a significant development for the two tokens, which have already rallied following the announcement. BCH jumped nearly 10% within minutes of the news, while UNI climbed around 5%.

The CME Group listing represents a major endorsement from Wall Street and could attract more institutional investment to the tokens. Giovanni Vicioso, Global Head of Cryptocurrency Products at CME Group, noted that 'as crypto markets continue to mature, participants require broader, regulated tools to navigate evolving digital asset related price risk.'

The addition of BCH and UNI futures contracts comes as part of the exchange's ongoing efforts to expand its crypto offerings. The exchange has already listed contracts for Cardano, Chainlink, and Stellar.
