CME Group's stock dropped slightly on Tuesday but recovered during pre-market hours. The derivatives operator plans to launch Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap futures on October 19, pending regulatory review. These additions will expand CME Group's regulated cryptocurrency offerings.

The new products include standard and smaller Micro contract sizes for both Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap. For example, the standard Bitcoin Cash futures will cover 250 BCH, while the Micro contracts will represent 25 BCH each.

Crypto trading activity remains substantial across CME Group's wider futures and options business. In the first half of the year, average daily volume reached 279,800 contracts, equivalent to approximately $8.3 billion in notional value across its cryptocurrency derivatives products.
