CME Group is set to launch its Nasdaq CME Crypto Index futures on June 8, pending regulatory approval.

This marks a rescheduled target date after an initial mid-March go-live window passed without the product launching.

The new futures contract will offer broad exposure to the top cryptocurrencies by market capitalization and settle in US dollars to the Nasdaq CME Crypto Settlement Price Index.

Crypto News reports that as of May 14, the index tracks Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK) and Stellar Lumens (XLM).
