Coin Metrics Corrects 19 Months of Bitcoin ETF Wallet Data
Coin Metrics has revised its Bitcoin ETF wallet data for a 19-month period from February 7, 2025 to September 17, 2026. The correction affects 60 network-data series, including 35 daily and 25 hourly metrics that cover deposits, withdrawals, transfers, transactions, net flows, and supply.
The revised data includes metrics on identified addresses associated with major ETF issuers such as BlackRock, ARK Invest, Franklin Templeton, Grayscale, Invesco, Valkyrie, VanEck, WisdomTree, and Bitwise. These metrics provide a structured view of attributed on-chain wallet movements.
The revision does not reveal the cause or size of the changes, leaving users unable to assess conclusions drawn from prior series. The affected daily and hourly data cover a 19-month period and include flow and supply metrics, making data vintage relevant when earlier analysis is updated.
