Coinbase Accused of Concealing Billion-Dollar Hacking Campaign

Share

Ari Paul, founder and Chief Investment Officer of BlockTower Capital, has made serious allegations against Coinbase. He claims that the exchange concealed a $1 billion hacking campaign affecting multiple institutions, including his own firm.

Paul stated that BlockTower lost $25 million to Coinbase in the past, which was later linked to a broader series of hacking incidents. Unfortunately, the funds have not been returned, leaving no doubt about the severity of the issue.

The allegations by Paul also reveal that at least 10 other institutions were affected by the alleged campaign, with the total amount involved exceeding $1 billion.

Paul has come forward to share this information because multiple legal proceedings remain ongoing. His accusations center on Coinbase's handling of the incidents and the funds involved.
