Coinbase Adds Wrapped Zcash and Hyperliquid Support

Coinbase has expanded its offerings by adding support for wrapped versions of Zcash (cbZEC) and Hyperliquid (cbHYPE) on its Base Layer 2 blockchain.

These ERC-20 tokens are backed 1:1 by the original assets held in custody by Coinbase, allowing users to use them across DeFi applications for lending, borrowing, and more.

Coinbase issued a warning about potential fraud, advising users to only trust official contract addresses to avoid scams involving fake tokens.
