Coinbase Bolsters Partnerships, Reduces Fees in Push for Digital Asset Adoption
Coinbase has made significant strides in expanding its services for both retail and institutional users. The company recently partnered with Citi to provide institutional clients with access to stablecoins, a key step towards increased adoption of digital assets.
Emilie Choi highlighted several major partnerships that have been added to Coinbase's roster in the past month. These include integrating Moov for local bank stablecoin products and partnering with Stablecore to offer local bank digital asset services.
Coinbase has also taken steps to reduce transfer fees, introducing a $2 remittance fee for transfers to El Salvador. Furthermore, the company has appointed a new Head of Stablecoins.
