Coinbase Brings Direct Paycheck Deposits, Fee-Free Crypto Purchases

Coinbase is introducing direct deposit of paychecks into user accounts, allowing customers to buy cryptocurrencies without transaction fees.

The feature, set to be available soon, aims to simplify the process for users who currently need to transfer funds from their external bank account to Coinbase.

According to Prakash Hariramani, senior director of product at Coinbase, this will enable customers to 'get paid in crypto or in U.S. dollars' and gain 'instant and free access to the cryptoeconomy.'
