Coinbase Brings Physical Pokémon Card Packs to App

Coinbase is adding a new feature to its app that lets users open physical Pokémon card packs from their phones, with each pull backed by a real, physical card.

The feature was teased on September 28, and Coinbase said the product will be available 'soon.'

Users can keep the cards in a vault or have them shipped to their address. However, details about how ownership is recorded remain limited.

This move fits into Coinbase's Everything Exchange strategy, which aims to combine crypto, equities, derivatives, prediction markets, and other financial products within one ecosystem.
