Coinbase CEO Sticks to $400,000 Bitcoin Forecast by 2030 Amid Growing Institutional Interest
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has reiterated his forecast that Bitcoin could reach $400,000 by 2030. This prediction is based on the past halving cycles of Bitcoin's supply reduction, which have led to sharp rallies and major corrections every four years.
According to Armstrong, Bitcoin's network reduces new supply about every four years, and if this pattern continues, it could rise to three times its previous record high before 2030. However, he emphasized that this is only a possible scenario and not a fixed target.
Coinbase has also introduced a fixed-rate loan product that allows customers to borrow USDC using Bitcoin as collateral. The product operates based on the decentralized lending protocol Morpho Midnight and provides preset borrowing rates and fixed maturities. It will operate alongside existing variable-rate loan services, including Morpho Blue.
The introduction of this new product comes as U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen significant inflows. In the week ended September 25, U.S. funds recorded net inflows of $2.4 billion, making it the biggest weekly inflow since October 2025. The 12 Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $999 million on Monday alone, which was the biggest daily inflow since October 6, 2025.
