A brief glitch on Coinbase caused an unknown number of customers' account balances to inflate temporarily, making some of them appear as billionaires.
The issue, described by Coinbase as a 'display problem,' only affected non-tradable cryptocurrency assets and did not impact actual trading.
No official explanation for the glitch has been provided yet, but Coinbase stated that it is working to resolve the issue.
