Coinbase Ditches War for Growth as Crypto Regulation Finds Clarity
Coinbase's new Vice President Ryan VanGrack has announced that the regulatory battles in the cryptocurrency sector are over. Since taking office on July 9, 2026, VanGrack has been approaching the company's regulatory stance from a different perspective.
Instead of court battles and sanctions, the focus is now on growth and innovation. The crypto industry can now focus on development without having to fight for its right to exist.
The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, also known as the CLARITY Act, has gained 'tremendous momentum,' according to VanGrack. This law aims to create a federal regulatory framework that draws clear boundaries of authority between the SEC and the CFTC regarding digital assets.
