Crypto exchange Coinbase Global Inc. has been removed as a member of UK Finance, one of Britain's most influential financial services lobby groups.
The decision comes as the digital-asset sector takes on a more prominent role in policy debates.
According to people with knowledge of the matter, the board of UK Finance wrote a letter to Coinbase last week terminating its membership.
