Coinbase has reportedly been dropped from UK Finance membership following a review of its membership criteria.

According to Bloomberg, Coinbase was informed last week that its membership would be terminated, and can appeal the decision.

UK Finance's public member directory still lists Coinbase at the time of writing, but the reported change has not yet appeared in publicly available records.

The review found that cryptocurrency exchanges did not meet the requirements under UK Finance's current membership framework, leading to the termination of Coinbase's membership.
