Coinbase Enters Traditional Equities Market with US Stock Rollout

Coinbase has expanded its services to include nearly 4,000 U.S. stocks for eligible UK users, marking a significant shift in the company's focus beyond cryptocurrencies.

The new service allows customers to buy, sell, and manage U.S. shares alongside their crypto and fiat holdings, with 24-hour trading from Monday through Friday and zero-commission transactions available.

Eligible users will be able to fund stock purchases instantly using British pounds or USDC, reducing the need for multiple accounts and facilitating a seamless investment experience.
