Coinbase Expands Stock Trading for UK Residents

Coinbase has expanded its services to allow UK residents to trade US-listed stocks through their existing Coinbase application.

This new feature, part of Coinbase's broader expansion in the country, enables users to add US equities without opening and funding an unrelated investment application.

The stock service operates under separate brokerage, settlement, and investor-protection rules, with some limitations. Not every stock is available throughout extended hours, and orders placed outside regular sessions may face lower liquidity and wider spreads.
