Upbit Lists Cap Across Three Markets Amid Crypto Expansion

South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, has listed Cap (CAP) across its KRW, BTC, and USDT markets. The listing expands CAP's availability by adding Bitcoin and Tether trading pairs to the existing Korean won market.

The CAP deposits and withdrawals are supported only through the Ethereum network, with users required to use the official Ethereum contract address. Upbit has introduced temporary trading controls for the new listing, including a restriction on buy orders for about five minutes after trading opened and blocking sell orders below 10% of the previous day's closing price.

The CAP token operates an on-chain credit and stablecoin protocol based on a covered credit model. The project issues cUSD, a dollar-backed stablecoin, and stcUSD, a yield-bearing version created by staking cUSD within the network.
