Coinbase Global Sees Record Subscribers Amidst Revenue Decline
Coinbase Global's second-quarter 2026 results revealed a decline in revenue and trading volumes, but a record number of paid subscribers.
The company reported $1.22 billion in revenue, falling short of analyst estimates of $1.3 billion, and a GAAP loss of $1.36 per share against a consensus loss of about $0.42.
However, the paid membership count for Coinbase One reached an all-time high, with over a million subscribers, despite trading volumes falling.
The subscription revenue accounted for $584 million of the total revenue reported in the first quarter of 2026, showing that customers are not leaving despite the decline in crypto prices.
