Coinbase has identified an issue causing delayed transfers of HBAR (Hedera Hashgraph) on its platform. The problem, which was first reported at 10:04 p.m. PDT on Aug. 28, affects blockchain transfers rather than trading inside Coinbase.

The exchange said that buying and selling of HBAR remained available, but fiat deposits and withdrawals were operating normally. It also assured customers that their funds were safe.

Coinbase did not disclose the technical cause of the issue or provide an estimated time for full restoration as of its update on Aug. 29. However, it moved the incident from 'Investigating' to 'Identified,' indicating that it had found the problem and was implementing a fix.
