Coinbase has introduced a new market for predicting the outcome of sports events. The first event is the Rice vs Fresno St game, where users can bet on 'Yes' or 'No' to predict the winner.

The market will expire on September 29, 2026, unless an outcome occurs before then. Current players, coaches, and staff are prohibited from trading this contract, as well as paid employees of the league and their household members.

The price reflects the market's odds, with $0.65 meaning a 65% chance that the event will happen. Users can trade regulated 'Yes/No' contracts on outcomes in various categories, including crypto, economics, politics, sports, entertainment, technology, science, and more.
