Coinbase Lists Concrete Token CT, But Deposits Remain Locked

Share

Coinbase has added the governance token CT from the Concrete protocol to its asset listing roadmap. However, a catch exists: nobody can actually deposit anything yet because the issuer hasn't unlocked transfers.

The exchange typically generates deposit infrastructure before enabling trading and withdrawals, which is what Coinbase did on September 9, 2026.

CT has a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens and serves as a governance mechanism for the Concrete protocol. It does not confer ownership stakes, dividend rights, or any economic claims.
